About ODO-210 Dissolved oxygen sensor
Basic Function

The ODO fluorescence dissolved oxygen sensor uses the principle of "dynamic fluorescence quenching" to measure dissolution in water. The thin film at the top of this sensor is covered with a layer of fluorescent material. When the blue light emitted by the light emitting diode (LED) shines on the fluorescent material, it will emit fluorescence when it returns from the excited state to the ground state, which is the test signal. The higher the concentration of dissolved oxygen, the shorter the duration of fluorescence. By testing the duration of fluorescence, the concentration of dissolved oxygen can be calculated. Built in temperature, pressure, and automatic compensation for dissolved oxygen values.

Installation:


How to use Dissolved oxygen Analyzer?
Electrodes are very delicate components and must be installed correctly. Incorrect installation can lead to electrode damage or irreversible damage.
Do not put the electrode directly into the water, should choose the electrode mounting bracket or flow cup fixation.
1. Maintenance: It is recommended to clean the sensor film head attachment every 30 days, and avoid using hard objects to scratch the fluorescent film head during cleaning. Please wipe with a soft damp cloth
2. It is recommended to clean the outer surface of the sensor with water flow. If there are still debris residues, please wipe them with a damp soft cloth

Attention:
The sensor should be installed in areas with slow water flow and no bubbles
1. Do not use sharp objects to scratch the fluorescent film head. Once the fluorescent material falls off, the dissolved oxygen value cannot be accurately measured and the fluorescent film head needs to be replaced.
2. Replace the fluorescent cap. The fluorescent cap is connected to the sensor body by threaded fastening, and a waterproof sealing ring is used in the middle. Do not miss the sealing ring when replacing it.
3. Installation measurement should be avoided in areas with turbulent water flow to reduce the impact of water bubbles on the measurement.
4. For daily storage, when not in use for a long time, please use a protective cover with moist cotton for storage. For long-term dry storage, soak for 48 hours before use.
5. Suggestion: Choose our companys protective cover to prevent microbial attachment from affecting measurement results.
